Personal Data Processing Policy (GDPR)

    This policy describes how the controller processes the personal data of users and website visitors in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (“GDPR”) and with Act No. 110/2019 Coll. on personal data processing.

    The controller has not appointed a data protection officer, as this obligation does not apply to it.

    2. Scope of processed data

    As part of registration for the lāska.ai closed beta and the operation of the website, the following categories of personal data may be processed:

    • Contact detail: the e-mail address provided when registering for the closed beta programme.
    • Technical data: IP address, browser type and website visit data (only where cookie consent has been given).

    We use your e-mail solely for enrolment in the closed beta programme and for sending information related to testing. We will not use it for any other purpose.

    4. Data retention period

    • E-mail address provided for beta purposes: for the duration of testing, and no longer than 2 years after it ends.
    • Accounting and tax documents: for 10 years pursuant to Acts No. 235/2004 Coll. and No. 563/1991 Coll.
    • Cookies: according to the cookie bar settings, for a maximum of 12 months.

    5. Recipients of personal data

    Personal data is not transferred to third parties, except for entities whose involvement is required by law (e.g. accountant, web hosting provider). The controller has a data processing agreement in place with all processors. Data is not transferred to third countries outside the EU/EEA.

    6. Rights of the data subject

    Under the GDPR, you have in particular the following rights:

    • the right of access to personal data (Art. 15 GDPR),
    • the right to rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
    • the right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) (Art. 17 GDPR),
    • the right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
    • the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
    • the right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR),
    • the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data at any time by sending a request to gdpr@laska.ai,
    • the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, www.uoou.cz.

    You can exercise your rights in writing at the e-mail address gdpr@laska.ai. The request will be handled without undue delay, within 30 days at the latest.

    7. Cookies

    The website uses necessary cookies to ensure basic functionality and, after consent is given, analytics or marketing cookies. You can change your cookie settings at any time by clicking the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer.

    8. Data security

    The controller has adopted appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, destruction or misuse. Data in electronic form is stored in secured systems.

    9. Final provisions

    Providing an e-mail address is voluntary. Without it, however, a user cannot be enrolled in the closed beta programme. No automated decision-making or profiling takes place when processing personal data.
